Queens House Wedding

As a named Preferred Photographer for The Queens House I get to photograph here often. This gorgeous wedding took place in July - there was a light breeze coming in from the Thames, the sun was shining and it felt altogether like a party in the midst of the countryside - with Greenwich park on the left and the grounds around the Queens House closed off for the wedding guests to spill out onto with a glass of champagne in the late afternoon and evening light. Laugher filled the air and with an international guest list - my bride from Belgium meant everyone was switching between, English, German, French and Flemish was awe-inspiring…And after the dinner had been served, the coffee’s poured and the last rays of light glinting off the domes of the Old Royal Naval College, some quiet moments were had between my bride and her brother, the raucous cousins on the steps with the groom laughing and the guests all ready and eager for the dancing downstairs in the Undercroft.

If you are looking for a city location, with a classical feel, set in the midst of seemingly countryside and with a light bright elegant feel to the rooms you have no further to look than the Queens House.

Enjoy the photos….
