So thrilled to have this London Winter Wedding shoot featured in both You and Your Wedding Magazine and also on international blog Magnolia Rouge which you can check out here. If you are thinking of holding a destination wedding in London or who has made their home in London and want to host a wedding in London showcasing your lives all the people involved in this shoot are London based. So easy to find a supplier you are on the lookout for! And also gives you an idea of what a winter wedding in London can look like. Those crisp frosty winter days are so romantic and give a different feel and flavour to the day…Wrapping up warm with glasses of punch and mulled wine, beautiful candlelit dinners, and the excitement of guests – attending a winter wedding is far less usual than a summer one and often the stand-out event to look forward to.
If you are thinking of eloping or holding a destination wedding in London, its always a great idea to ask your photographer to take you to some quintessential London streets that offer the best reflective light, gorgeous backdrops and are perfect for those iconic photographs that will become the showcase of your wedding day.
So this shoot took place at the Bridal Boutique and Kensington and featured a host of talented suppliers. Hair and Makeup – Tori Harris, Hair accessories – Victoria Millesime, Dress – Lucy Martin Bridal, Grooms attire – Alexandra Wood Bespoke, Stationary – Jennifers Papers, Cake – The Custom Cake Boutique Designed and Styled by The Boutique Bridal Coop Flowers – Blue Sky Flowers
All the photographs here were taken on film (Portra400) on Contax 645 with an 85mm f2 zeis lens. I find this film type perfect for the UK as it gives slightly more yellow/brown feel to the photographs (something you dont need in California by is great for London).
